David
Allen Wagner, Jr. was home schooled
through high school, and now attends college locally taking pre-dental
requirements. David has taken five years of cello and has enjoyed
playing with a youth orchestra and various ensembles. When the
band was forming, he made the finishing touch by bringing in
the bass fiddle. His interests include music, riding his horse "Sierra," physical
fitness, snow skiing, marksmanship, flying, and operating heavy
equipment on the farm.
Dianne
Michelle Wagner is being home schooled
through high school. Dianne has been studying violin for six
years and plays in a youth Symphony. When she realized the mandolin
had the same strings as the violin, it was instantly added to
her collection of instruments. She enjoys the piano, accordion,
guitar, oboe, her banjo, and a 1920's field drum. When she is
alone and quiet, it is usually because she is drawing. She loves
to do art, play music, snow ski, ride horses, and is presently
working with her 2½ year
old palomino "Trigger."
John
Franklin Wagner
is being home schooled through high school. John studied piano and cello, but
it was only when his Aunt Debbie taught him the song "Wagon Wheels" on
the ukelele did he start getting excited over an instrument. When he picked up
his dad’s
guitar and started making it sing, everyone knew what his instrument was! He
started out playing songs with his brother, Benjamin. He loves to spend time
outside, wilderness survival, camping, snow skiing, and riding his horse, "Gator."
Jillionna
Ashlynne Bailey goes to Bailey Prep school. Jillee
has studied hammered dulcimer for six years. She currently is the principal harpist
in two orchestras, a youth and adult, and was a guest harpist in a Philharmonic.
Recently, she and her sister, Josianne, won second place in a Young Artist Solo
competition, and first place in another Youth Solo competition with Mozart's
Concerto in C Major for flute and harp. Jillee also enjoys the piano, guitar,
playing with her animals, and riding her horse, "Louisa."
Josianne
Kayleigh Bailey also goes to Bailey Prep school.
Josee taught herself how to play banjo, and has now been taking lessons for two
years. She is presently the principal flautist in a youth orchestra, and recently,
with her sister Jillionna, won second place in a Young Artist Solo competition,
and first place in another Youth Solo competition with Mozart's Concerto in C
Major for flute and harp. She also won third place on another Youth Solo competition
with a solo flute concerto. Josee also enjoys the piano, harp, playing any other
musical instruments, snow skiing, playing with her animals, and riding her horse, "Sassy."
Benjamin
Scott Wagner is
being home schooled through highschool. Benjamin has been studying violin for
four years and has participated in local ensembles. Benjamin studies classical
violin but he loves fiddle music! He will always prefer to be outside. Many times
you’ll find him outside and up in the trees building another platform for his
zip lines. He enjoys being on a swim team, repelling, snow skiing, and trail-riding
on "Dally."
